It's Christmas!... What will I wear?
Welcome back to my 2nd segment in my new series 'TOP 5...'.
This blog post will by my TOP 5... best clothing items for the Christmas party season that is fast approaching (and I am extremely excited)!
This years Autumn/Winter fashion has just been totally insane. So many amazing stand out outfits and pieces in all different colours and materials. Attending Belfast Fashion Week this season has really inspired a lot of these outfits as very similar outfits where rocked on the runway and looked amazing! The high street has seriously up'd its game!
So with that comes our first piece from Topshop.
1. Topshop Floral Velvet Skater Dress
This dress is a gorgeous subtle but stand out piece that would look great in everyone's Autumn/Winter wardrobe. Paired with a pair of black heeled boots would really dress this outfit up and make it perfect for a Christmas party!
I love the open back and lace up detail as I think it really makes the dress eye catching and rememberable.
This dress is priced at just under £50, which I would say is reasonable as it is a dress that you could dress up or down, so you would get a lot of wear out of it during the Autumn/Winter season.
2. Missguided Ombre Sequin Mini Dress
This stunning dress from Missguided is completely covered in amazing coloured sequins! This dress comes in a few colours, all of which are completely amazing! This piece would be perfect for a night out around Christmas time and you would literally be a glitter ball on the dancefloor. If you are not a massive jewellery fan this dress would be perfect because it has all the shine you would ever need. With a pair of black heels on your feet with this dress you would be good to go!
3. Missguided Black Multicoloured Sequin Dress
Again another gorgeous sequin dress from Missguided (I couldn't not add this)!!
This dress is so unique as it is covered in the front with beautiful multicoloured sequins, but has a black back. So I guess you could say business in the back party in the front this time! This dress is a statement piece in itself and so would not need any jewellery to dress it up, however paired with a pair of black tassel earrings would be gorgeous! 4. Boohoo Green Velvet Playsuit
Green velvet is my favourite around this time of year! This emerald green playsuit looks way more expensive than it actually is - £20...what a steal!It looks very dressy and classy, perfect for a Christmas party or night out during the Winter season. Again with a pair of statement earrings and black heels this outfit would be amazing.
I recently purchased a pair of gorgeous statement earrings that would go perfect with this playsuit from stylishsparkles.com or @stylishsparkles7 on Instagram. I contacted Lyndsy after seeing her wear these earrings on her Instagram and although they are not on sale yet, she sent me these over! So keep an eye out on her site for these and while you're waiting check out all her other gorgeous jewellery.
5. ASOS Co-ords
If you want to look more put together and classy there is nothing more perfect that an outfit like this! All of these beauties can be purchased from asos.com. Although this is one of the more pricey outfit choices, it will look absolutely amazing on and will really stand out. I specifically chose these four from ASOS as I feel they really represent this seasons fashion trends - monochrome, stripes, check, red and velvet! So with one of these one you are sure to look bang on trend this season!
